Liquid soap

Our liquid soap disappears in no time, especially in the toilet. My little one washes there his animal toys or cars or empty snail shells or just simply presses too much when washing his own hands. I’ve always heard: Mama, soap’s ran out! What? Again? I’ve just refilled it. Maybe I have some in the cabinet. But no, I had to go to the drugstore. On top of that, I couldn’t really find a fitting soap, my hands were very dehydrated, they were hurting.

Again little bit of research.

Curd soap? Hmmm. Grating? Na dann, grating. Just a teaspoon. I can make that… I boiled the water with the soap. Stirring, stirring, leaving a little bit, stirring, lets chill out. Than I refilled the bottles in the toilet, bathroom and kitchen. I tried, hmm, it works for me. I can live with this soap.

I really thought, that my big son would be the first, who says: Mama, what is this? It is not that soap, what we usually use. He’s the one, who always likes the same things the same way. It is difficult for him to accept changes. No, he didn’t say a word. That could work. Oh, but my dear husband. He recognized it:

Husband: What is this? It is so, so…

Me: Homemade soap.

Husband: Homemade soap? What’s wrong with the others soap?

Me: I don’t want to buy them anymore.

Husband: It feels not so good, for me.

Me: I like it. And my hands are not dehydrated, anymore. But I try to change something by the time I would make it again.

I’ve put some coconut oil in that, by the next time. Meanwhile he can live with this soap, or he doesn’t say anything or the dishwasher mixture is more important… 🙂
