A crazy week before Christmas

Christmas, hurry, hurry, shopping, guests… The usual Christmas program…

I think, I am a quite concentrated person or just a control freak who should know everything. Most of the time I feel that my head is a huge calendar and the information is floating back and forth without stopping, even at night. What I need to do (every minute planed), what programmes, trainings the children have, where, what, how, when, these things are everywhere in my mind. And I don’t understand, when someone in the family forgets something. And then baaangg, on some days my brain gives up and I forget somethings and I am disorganised… , black out. I can be very angry with myself on these days. I have to force myself to be concentrated…

Before Christmas I had this disorganised blackout week.

The first error. Monday, I don’t like Mondays, but who does. My big son had piano lesson in the afternoon. We always have to take his brother too and while my older son has his piano lesson, me and the little one go and ride bicycle or go to the playground or have to buy something or take a walk, etc. We did our turn and had a little bit of time. I decided to wait outside of the piano room, that was not my best idea. My little wasn’t very patient and began throwing away gloves: his, mine and those of his brother. As my big one finished the lesson, I picked up everything (at least I thought I did), books, shopping things, gloves, scarves, hats, books, notes. Finally we were at home as I realised, that the gloves of my little son went missing (he didn’t likes gloves, so if it is not so cold, he doesn’t wear them). Great… I didn’t want to go back to the school and next day we didn’t find them anymore. Okay, then that’s just how it is. And I didn’t remember anything, where I could have left them. Ahhhh!!!!!

The second error. Thursday, swimming course preceded by a Christmas happening in the kindergarten. We were in a hurry. As we were changing, I put my cell phone away (I don’t know where, I didn’t remember it) and I didn’t realise it, so we were heading swimming. Half an hour later comes an flash, where is my phone? Certainly in the changing cabin or in my jacket or in my trousers or in my bag or…, nooo, I don’t know. We were ready with swimming and went to the changing room. And the phone was nowhere… Okay. Maybe someone found it and left it at the check-out. We went out and yeesss, someone was so kind and thank you, thank you!

The third error. Friday. Children, school, kindergarten, and then go to the market. It was the last weekend before Christmas, lots of people, masses, masses everywhere, no parking lot. Where am I going to park the car? After ten minutes I found a free spot. Shopping is done, lots of bags, a basket, heavy weighs all over. Load everything into the car, so far so good, hurry home. Then unpacking… I usually know, where I put the things I bought, somehow a list in my brain… But where are the tomatoes? I know, they were in the basket, on top of the salat. Where are they? I couldn’t have left them by the seller, I remember when I put them in the basket, or not? Okay, this week is crazy. I will not go back to the market, no way. After two hours, okay I do go back, before I bring home my son from the kindergarten. Good, back. I found a parking lot, the exact same place, as in the morning. I was walking on the same path (where I never usually go, but today it was the second time), just like in the morning and what do I see. My tomatoes in the mesh bag are hanging on a rose bush right next to the sidewalk. Nobody took them :-). It looks like the bush angled them :-). Good, I have my phone again, I have the tomatoes again, only the gloves of my son are missing.

Saturdays I usually have a training. On this Saturday my husband said, that he drives me, okay, I don’t need to drive. I was looking around, as I saw one of the gloves of my son on a bush. Stop!!!! I’ll get it! Where is the other one? Nowhere… Doesn’t matter… We drove on. My husband turned on in the parking place and he just said: there is the other one! What? The other one? You’re just kidding me. But, no, there was the other half of the gloves on a fence.

We had everything this week!
